Welcome to new graduate student, Kentucky Ben!

The Lukens lab is happy to have Ben Wendell join the crew. Ben is a first year microbiology, immunology, and cancer (MIC) PhD student who is interested in studying traumatic brain injury.

Although Ben originally hails from Ohio, he has been endowed the nickname “Kentucky Ben” (aka Cholula Ben) to honor his years spent at the University of Kentucky and to distinguish him from undergraduate researcher Ben Davis (aka “Baby Ben”).
