Rethinking Neuroimmunology with old and new friends

Members of the lab attended the #ReThinkNeuroimmunology Symposium hosted by Washington University in St Louis, a three day event highlighting cutting edge new research at the intersection of immunology and neuroscience.

Trainees Ava Hollis, Lexi Johnson, Ana Royo Marco, Jess Thanos, Addie Walsh, and Kristine Zengeler presented posters and were fortuitous to interact with leaders in the field. Other highlights included the top-notch espresso bar, fun times dancing and exploring the City Museum along with other conference attendees, and learning from conference organizer Dr Jonathan Kipnis that astrocytes are just glorified fibroblasts.
