The lab represents at the Neuroimmune GRC

Many lab members attended the Gordon Research Conference (GRC) on Neuroimmune Communication in Health and Disease and the associated Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) in Ventura, CA. Some of our friends from other BIG center labs and other UVA graduate students were also in attendance.

We had an amazing time catching up with colleagues, making new science friends, sharing cool new data, and enjoying the California sunshine.

Our own John (Luke) Lukens, along with esteemed immunologist Jennifer Gommermann, were together elected as co-chairs of the 2027 GRC meeting. We look forward to the next meeting - Europe 2025!
