Katherine Bruch
Katherine is a medical student at UVA planning on going into neurology. She is a native of Colorado, but has also lived in various other places including Central Asia and the Middle East. Katherine took a research year in the lab, focusing on how traumatic brain injury and the disruption of meningeal lymphatics affect the progression of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease. Outside the lab, Katherine enjoys writing, hiking, and teaching her dog, Enola. Katherine completed her MD at UVA and is now a resident in Neurology at Mass General Brigham Hospital in Boston.
