Ava grew up in Elmhurst, IL. She is an undergraduate planning to major Neuroscience and Math. Ava works with Kristine studying inflammasome complex activation and its role in seizures. Outside of lab, she serves as a first-year judge on the University Judiciary Committee, is a member of Orthodox Christian Fellowship, and is a part of Greek life. Outside of lab, Ava enjoys CrossFiting and watching trashy TLC TV shows :)
