Amelia grew up in Norfolk, Virginia and graduated from William & Mary with a B.S. in Neuroscience and Spanish. Her undergraduate research focused on the psychology of vaccination behaviors, and she is excited to gain experience with animal models and learn more about neurodegenerative diseases in the Lukens lab. Outside of the lab, she enjoys running, skiing, playing guitar, and trying new foods.
