Abhi Verma
Abhi grew up in Chantilly, Virginia. He graduated from UVA in 2024 majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Psychology. While in the Lukens lab, Abhi worked with Aman Mangalmurti to study the role of IRF1 in the microglial response to amyloid beta-driven damage associated with Alzheimer's disease. When he's not in the lab, Abhi loves to go rock climbing, binge on his iced chai tea latte from Starbucks, and catch up on episodes of Family Guy. Abhi is now a baccalaureate researcher at the NIH.
